The Maclehose Trail is a 100km long hiking trail. The trail is split up into 10 sections and starts Sai Kung, in the east of Hong Kong and ends in Tuen Mun in the west. The current plan is to start at section 10 in Tuen Mun and finish in Sai Kung at section one.

The total elevation gain of the trail adds up to just over 5000m, which adds to the challenge!

The trail takes you through some of Hong Kong’s stunning locations such as the Sai Wan beaches or even to its tallest peak, Tai Mo Shan (957m).

And you’ll never hike alone along the trail as Golden Hill is covered with monkeys and cows are seen across multiple sections of the trail!
